Hamdard’s health education department provides information and programming to both our patients and the communities we serve. In our clinic, our health educators focus on ways to manage patient’s diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure through the promotion of healthy behaviors at monthly sessions. Health educators work along with the providers to ensure the patient’s health conditions improve with healthy eating and adequate exercise. In the community, Hamdard develops and implements programs to improve health outcomes for prevalent issues. Hamdard is able to host programs focusing on healthy relationships for preteens and teenagers as well as nutrition education and support groups.
