Our country and community are facing unprecedented challenges. Hamdard is adapting to continue our mission of providing our patients with hope, help and healing while keeping them safe from COVID-19.
Latest on the COVID-19 VaccineUpdated 1/25/2020
After a long, dark year we are beginning to see the first rays of hope shine on our community. Hamdard has received our first limited batch of COVID-19 vaccines. In accordance with city, state and federal guidelines, we have begun the process of vaccinating our providers and staff. In the coming days we will begin providing vaccinations to established patients who meet the aforementioned guidelines, with priority given to seniors in our Adult Day Services program and other older adults 65 and older.
Given the limited supply available and current restrictions, we are not accepting calls or other requests for the vaccine. If you would like to sign up to receive updates on vaccine availability, Hamdard services and the latest information on COVID-19 in the community, click the first button below. As we receive more vaccines, we will contact patients who can receive them. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines, please click the second button below to read a blog post from our Medical Director, Irma Esposito, MD.
