There are children from our community waiting who need your family now!
But before you decide to become a foster parent, can you do these five things?

Could you protect and nurture children by providing safe, loving family environment?
Could you connect children to safe nurturing relationships, intend to last a lifetime by continuing to be a source of support to children after they have returned home to live?
Could you meet children’s individual, educational, medical and developmental needs by giving them individual help and attention, and work with other professionals to determine their needs?
Could you support children’s relationships with their family by accepting children and their families into your life and becoming part of theirs, and helping children and their families cope with the pain of being separated?
Could you work as a member of a professional child welfare team by learning the important roles of the foster parent, the child’ worker, and other child welfare professionals, and working with the agency to return children to their families?
