Hamdard Crisis Line is open and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is staffed by trained and certified professionals. Our crisis line is user friendly and manned by a live person at the other end. Through this line we provide assessment and brief and intermediate crisis intervention, assurance, support, information and referral. We receive approximately six thousand (6,000) crisis calls every year from men, women, and teenagers with personal and family crisis, emotional distress, isolation, depression, and abuse and neglect.
