Community members and social service providers are the crucial link to bridge trafficking survivors to the help they need. This training provides an introduction to the issue of human trafficking including how to recognize when a child or youth is trafficked and provide a culturally appropriate response. This event is open to the public, but professionals from health, mental health, law, social services, and educational fields as well as business owners, civic leaders, and elected officials in Asian American communities are strongly encouraged to attend. Space is limited. Light refreshments will be served. For registration information, contact IOFA Executive Director Jody Haskin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
