Hamdard Healthcare IS your Hometown Community Health Center
Since 1992, Hamdard has been your community not-for-profit health and social service agency whose mission is “to promote the physical and emotional health and psychological well-being of individuals and families by offering hope, help, and healing.”
Hamdard’s philosophy is to meet the needs of our diverse communities through our comprehensive service model by providing culturally-sensitive and linguistically-appropriate social and behavioral health care services.
What is a Community Health Center?
Community Health Centers or CHCs (also known as Federally Qualified Health Centers or FQHCs) are non-profit clinics located in medically underserved areas - both rural and urban - throughout the United States. They share a mission of making comprehensive primary and behavioral care accessible to anyone regardless of ability to pay.
Why Support a Community Health Center?
Community Health Centers focus on improving the health of underserved, low-income and uninsured communities and populations in order to eliminate health disparities. Hamdard's health center helped over 2,600 patients in 2016 through our primary and behavioral health services.
